A Celebration of Life Service for Ronald Kloos, age 80, of Jackson, will be held on Saturday, January 24th, at 11:00 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jackson, with a time of visitation and gathering for one hour and thirty minutes prior to the service.

Ronald "Ron" Louis Kloos was born on May 22, 1945, to Howard and Helen (Stevenson) Kloos in Morris, Minnesota. Ron was baptized and confirmed at Kongsvinger Lutheran Church in Donnelly, Minnesota. He attended and graduated from Morris Area High School in the class of 1963. Following high school, Ron got his associate's degree in electrical Utility at Minnesota West.

Ron was united in marriage to DeVonne Corrine Propp on August 13th, 1965, at St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton, Minnesota. This union was blessed with two children: Jeffrey Howard, and Michael Lane. He lived in many places throughout his life including Morris, Pelican Rapids, Wheaton, and Jackson.

Ron's main occupations included being a lineman at Traverse Electric and working as a material handler at AGCO. He loved watching sports, especially any professional Minnesota sports team. He enjoyed bowling, and playing cards at the Legion with his friends.

Ronald passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18th at Ava's House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Ron is survived by his wife of 60 years, DeVonne "Dee" Kloos of Jackson; children, Jeffrey Howard Kloos of Jackson, Michael (Kim) Lane Kloos of Albert Lea; grandchildren, Chris Kloos, Jessica Kloos, Aaron Kloos all of Des Moines, IA; and great-grandchild, Serena Kloos of Des Moines, IA.
