Ronald William
Vosberg
Jan 2, 1938 — Jun 23, 2023
Ronald "Tyke" William Vosberg, 85, of rural Heron Lake, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Ava's House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Private Services will be held for Ronald, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Windom, MN.
Ronald "Tyke" W. Vosberg was born on January 2, 1938, to Wilhelm "Bill" and Minnie (Rummens) Vosberg in Slayton, Minnesota. He graduated from Slayton High School. After school he moved to Heron Lake, Minnesota and began a long career as a painter at Toro Manufacturing in Windom.
Ronald was known as "Tyke" for much of his life, because when he was born in 1938, he was a 'little tyke' and weighed just over 4 pounds. One of Ronald's most memorable hobbies was his yearly tradition of setting up his enormous Christmas village, complete with a night sky backdrop.
Left to cherish Ronald's memory are his children, Sandy Larson and Rick (Patty) Vosberg of Windom, MN; many grandchildren and great-
grandchildren; siblings, Beverly (Jerold) Noram and Mary (Eldon) Wiens; girlfriend, Carol Paplow; son-in-law, Wayne Drahota; brother-in-law, Edward Goehring; sister-in-law, Joan Vosberg; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Drahota; parents, Bill and Minnie Vosberg; brother, Darold Vosberg; and son-in-law, Curtis Larson.
Ronald's family would like to thank the staff at Ava's House for the wonderful care and support they provided in his final days.
Blessed be the memory of Ronald William Vosberg.
