Ronny Vorakoummane was born on May 30, 1989, in Brush, Colorado to My Montry and Khan Kham Vorakoummane. He earned his diploma from the Mountain Lake Public Schools, graduating with the Mountain Lake High School Class of 2007. He went onto college in Mankato. Ronny returned to Mountain Lake and started his career at Toro. Ronny then met the love of his life, Wendy Phillips, at Toro in 2012. Ronny was blessed with a stepson, Karsen, that he loved as his own. In 2013, the couple was blessed with another son, Hayden, who completed their family. Ronny and Wendy were married on June 25, 2016. Family was the most important thing to Ronny. He would do anything to spend time with his boys and family. He loved taking his boys fishing and hunting. Ronny also loved teaching his boys how to fix the dirt bikes in the garage. His other hobbies were reading and working out, but nothing compared to the enjoyment he got from spending time with his family and teaching his boys various skills. Ronny's laugh was so contagious that you could not help but laugh when you heard him. He was a jokester, and his smile would light up the room. Ronny had a huge heart, especially for children because he adored kids. Ronny would do anything for anyone. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life and wife, Wendy of Jackson; two sons, Karsen and Hayden; mother, Khan Kham Vorakoummane of Mountain Lake; two brothers, Kasey and Johnny; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Sue Phillips of Estherville, IA; three sisters-in-law, Crystal, Heidi and Megan; two brothers-in-law, Matt and Ben; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ronny is preceded in death by his father, My Montry.
