Sharon Kay Musegades, 70, of Storden, passed away Friday morning, December 15, 2023, at her

home in Storden.

Sharon was born January 14, 1953, the daughter of Harris and Hazel (Fossen) Lintner in Sauk

Centre, Minnesota. Sharon was baptized and confirmed at the Dovray Lutheran Church in

Dovray, Minnesota. She attended school and graduated from Westbrook High School in 1971.

On August 21, 1976, Sharon married the love of her life, Ricky Rynn Musegades at Our Savior's

Lutheran Church in Dovray. After they were married, Ricky and Sharon lived in Revere, MN and

then moved to Custer, SD in 1977 where they were blessed with their first-born daughter. After 1

1/2 years, the couple moved back to Storden, Minnesota where they were blessed with their two

other children.

Sharon worked many different jobs throughout her life, but he found her passion in working with

people. She was employed with the Red Rock School District for almost thirty years as a

paraprofessional until retiring in June of 2021. Sharon enjoyed being a part of school activities.

She was a volleyball coach, line judge and umped girls' softball. She loved the work she did, and

it showed. She was the kindest, gentlest person. Working with children was truly her passion and

she found great joy in it.

Sharon was a longtime, dedicated member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Storden where she

was on the church council and held all offices. Sharon was also a member of the Storden City

Council and the Dovray American Legion Post Auxiliary. Throughout her life, Sharon really

enjoyed gardening. Everything grown in her garden was given to others. She was a proud

grandma, a loving mom and devoted wife. Her family was her life. She was kind to everyone she

met, and her generosity will be remembered and cherished by many. She would help anyone

that needed it, in any way that she could.

Sharon is survived by her three children, Cindy Musegades of Storden; Heather Musegades of

Storden; Patrick (Allison) Musegades of Windom; two grandchildren, Seth Yackley and Rynn

Musegades; one sister, Cyn Lintner of Hartford, SD; sister-in-law, Vonnie (Earl) Crowell of Jeffers;

and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky; parents; mother and father-in-law, Curly and

Vera Musegades; brother-in-law, Kent (Nancy) Musegades; sister-in-law Marion (Mikki) Ickes;

nephew, Andy Musegades; niece, Sherilyn Crowell; great-niece, Emily Crowell Henderson and

many aunts and uncles.
