She was a kind and caring person, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer quiet support to those around her. Stacy had a special bond with her furry companions, Molly and Mack, who brought her comfort and joy and were truly her pride.
After graduating from Windom High School with the Class of 1993, Stacy Jo continued her education at Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Willmar and Worthington, earning a degree in Human Service Technology. She found meaningful work as a Designated Coordinator at New Dawn, where she managed two homes and made a lasting difference in the lives of those she served. She also worked as the City Clerk for the City of Heron Lake for five years and served the community as a member of the Herbert-Reese American Legion Auxiliary.
Stacy Jo had a creative eye and a love for photography, earning recognition for her beautiful landscape images. One of her photographs, a peaceful sunset, has been chosen to be featured on her obituary folder, a fitting reflection of her quiet appreciation for life's simple beauty. She cherished time with her family, loved horses, and found comfort in crocheting during quieter moments. In her younger years, she was active in 4-H and continued to support its mission throughout her life.
On April 22, 2026, Stacy passed away at her home in rural Windom.
She will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Thomas and Lois Anderson of Windom; her brother, Chad Anderson (Michelle) of Phoenix, Arizona; her nieces, Jordan and Jasmine; and her beloved pets, Molly and Mack, who were always close to her heart.
