William "Bill" Quade, age 72 of rural Storden, passed away, Thursday evening, June 11th at the Sanford Westbrook Medical Center in Westbrook, Minnesota.

A public celebration of life gathering will take place beginning at 5:00 PM on June 27th at the Jeffers Senior Center in Jeffers after the private, family service at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeffers.

William "Bill" Quade was born October 11, 1953, to Laurence and Patricia Quade. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Jeffers, where he was baptized, confirmed and later married. Bill graduated high school in Jeffers, MN and furthered his education at Willmar Tech.

He married the love of his life, Toni Lee Tilton, on April 25, 1973, and along came Taunya, Mike and Teresa. Bill and Toni were married just shy of 50 years before we lost her to cancer on January 24, 2024.

Right after marriage, dad started his own farming career and raised cattle for many years. Although he loved his job, that came in third place, with family second and fishing first!

Bill could strike up a conversation with anyone he met and always had a mischievous look in his eye. Bill was very active in the community and was always generous with his garden goodies and bountiful catches.

He is survived by his three children, Taunya (Gus) Kohls, Mike (Kelly) Quade, and Teresa Starnes; five grandchildren, Cassady Quade and Alexis (Isaiah) Anderson, Liliana, Emmalyn and Kylie Quade; one great-grandson, Dean with another great-granddaughter on the way; siblings, Jim (Joleen) Quade, Janice (David) Nickel, Rick (Bev) Quade, Roger Quade, Doug (Sue) Quade, Connie (Mike) Buckley, and Nancy (Matt) Neill; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by wife Toni, his parents Laurence and Patricia, sisters-in-law Jean Quade and Kathy Quade, and nephew Ethan Quade.
