Zariah Chanel Scott was born in Worthington, MN on June 25, 2015, to Trennell Scott of Omaha, NE and Mariah Nelson of Jackson, MN. During the time we were blessed to have Zariah here with us she was so full of life, love, and left a huge footprint on the hearts of everyone she met. She attended Jackson County Public Schools where she was in the 1st grade. Zariah loved singing, dancing, and playing with her siblings as well as cousins and friends. She was like a Mother Hen always looking out for her sisters and brother but in her free time she was watching the YouTube channels of Trinity and Beyond & Madison and Beyond. Her favorite color was purple, and she was a lover of art and painting just like her mother. Unfortunately, on November 13th, Zariah was in a fatal car accident that claimed the lives of her mother Mariah and 1 year old brother Sy. Zariah had extensive injuries that she fought hard to overcome but sadly gained her angel wings on November 20, 2021, at the Sanford's Children Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota surrounded by her loving family. Zariah will always be remembered for her love of life, laugh, and her beautiful smile that would light up any room she walked in. Zariah is survived by her father Trennell Scott, her sisters Armani Scott and Serenidee Shoenecker, maternal grandparents Donnie and Ron Oeltjenbruns, paternal grandparent Trennell Houghton, maternal great grandparent Linda Nelson and paternal great grandparents Bonnie and Calvin Dunn, , a host of aunts, uncle, great uncles, great great aunts and great-great uncles, cousins and friends. Zariah was greeted in heaven by her mother, Mariah Nelson, brother, Symere, and grandmother, Alicia Houghton.
